With the prayers and persistent efforts of the members, the Nerul Church construction was commenced in 1991.After the partial completion, the temporary consecration of the church was solemnized on 25th March 1995 by H.B. Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I Catholicose.

Sunday school

Sunday School is a religious organization which takes care of the spiritual nurturing of the children.Sunday school classes are held between 11.00AM - 12.30 PM on every Sunday following the holy Qurbana .Classes are currently held for classes 1- 12.

“Train up a child in the way he should go;even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)”

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord,and great shall be the peace of your children." (Isaiah 54:13)”

Objectives:

  • Educate the children the values of Christian life, the contents of the Bible and the Church history.
  • Train them to worship our God through singing and praying.
  • Instruct children the need for regular worship and introduce them to the faith and sacraments of the Church.
